Take a look at my world & the variety of work I produce under Tin City...

I’ve started ‘a thing’ so let’s see where it leads! Got a lot of these to make I think to make a larger piece. Love brutalism so a definite inspiration here. Woven tin strip panels incorporating my seemingly never decreasing broken objects & jewellery…

I am working on new things that will be moved eventually into a new venture to hopefully be revealed before Christmas.

New seasons bring new ideas into focus, I recently went through a box of items & found some lovely rusted tin pieces so have now stabilised & lacquered them & paired with broken jewellery to make into my favourite jewellery item ‘the brooch’, so this is the first in the making, revamping a broken seed necklace and giving it new life & I am looking forward to finishing & wearing it! #broochhandmade #bringbackthebrooch

If you haven’t visited @oilandink.gallery yet in Corsham then you should, a pretty wondrous gallery with a heavenly host of contemporary art & prints, mid century gems, retro furniture & ceramics and something intriguing in every corner. I missed the opening of the latest show ‘Sideshow Serenade’ last night by artists @paulchapman.ah & @simongriffithsart so made a point of visiting today which I really enjoyed as a massive fan of fairground & folk art and all things circus. I have been listening to a few paranormal podcasts recently and Si Griffith’s artwork certainly invoked that spirit visually to me in some of his pieces! Go check it out. On until September 12th
