Cash Is King
I was very fortunate early in 2018 to be invited to join Cash Is King - the art of defaced banknote project - by well respected mixed media artists Bob Osborne (Rebel Not Taken) and Carrie Reichardt (Mad In England). Two banknotes that I contributed were included in their fantastic limited edition book by the same name, so I am extremely proud to be included in this amongst some very well known and respected mixed media and urban artists from across the globe. Their book has also been accepted into the fiscal area of The British Museum for posterity. As it is illegal to deface bank notes in most countries, this is a great achievement for them and the artists involved in the project!
One of the notes I contributed ‘EiiR Scissorhands’ was also selected to appear in the accompanying Cash Is King exhibition & book launch at Saatchi Gallery, London in August 2018, so I’m once again extremely proud to have taken part. Many thanks once again to Bob Osborne and Carrie Reichardt for the inclusion. Enquiries regarding the book and Cash Is King project www.rebelnottaken.com
